Did you know that The Walking Dead was based on a comic book series created by Robert Kirkman and Tony Moore; and that this show is the most–watched basic cable drama series of all time. (Hard to imagine!) We can thank the creative mind of the Executive Producers Gale Anne Hurd and Robert Kirkman. You would know Gale from producing Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines, The Incredible Hulk, The Punisher, Armageddon, Aliens, Last Man Standing, and many more. So when we interviewed her, I was wondering about all the make–up that was used to create these very intense zombie faces and how they were able to keep that look in such heat using high definition cameras! Gale shared that and so much more! As we go into Season 3, this is a series that captures the ongoing human drama after a Zombie Apocalypse!

Glen Mazzara states, “zombie extras are professional actors hired through casting companies…” Do zombies poop? (Have you ever seen them eat?! It’s intense!) NO! They don’t poop. They only have a brain telling them to eat! It’s all too cool and fun. The air date for the new season is October 14, 2012 on AMC; just in time for Halloween!
