The Biblical, “NOAH,” will star Oscar Winner Russell Crowe! Along with Emma Watson, Logan Legman, Jennifer Connelly & Anthony Hopkins as Methuselah.
Noah is a Charlton Heston sort of feel from back in the 40’s & 50’s Bible story, directed by Darren Aronofsky.
Crowe walks on set as a bearded boat builder trying to warn the people but he shares with us, “I’m not like your typical Noah, its funny when you talk to people about the story of Noah. Everyone seems to have this benevolent understanding of who Noah might be. You know, which I think is directly related to childhood story books. As much as he may have been the one to put those animals on a vessel to save them, he was also the person to stand by, and watch the entire population of the earth disappear”.
Forsaking the world for animals large & small as they march in pairs up a plank into the Ark, that Noah has built.
There’s so much more to the story than that. There are a lot of clues there about what the story means. So it was about trying to create a world where the story of Noah could be truthful and could actually take place, and make it something that could connect to a modern audience.
Check out our interview as Russell Crowe gives us some in site into this Biblical story of the flood from Noah’s perspective.
